our small thoughts on art:

We have it on good authority that Edward K. Ellington said, "There are two kinds of music, good music, and the other kind." and, "If it sounds good, it is good."

These two views of Mr. Ellington's sum up our approach to creating or selecting our art, and we pay special attention to the latter, hoping that it looks good to you.

There are many kinds of, purposes for and sources of art.

As to kind, we offer prints from original sketches, paintings, and photographs and other items based on these prints.

As to purpose, we have elected to concentrate on art that is pleasant or amusing to look at, with whimsical, scenic or adventurous subjects. To us, that's a serious purpose.

We lean toward scenics/landscapes or renderings of romantic or adventurous objects and the like- appealing adventures, remembered, anticipated or imagined. We strive to give you a miniature vacation on your wall.

If our kind of art and our purpose for art don't appeal to you, you can find art of all other kinds and for all other purposes all over the place. Thank's for stopping by.

And finally, one more homily: according to Scott Adams, "Creativity is allowing oneself to make mistakes, art is knowing which ones to keep."  We hope we have kept some that you like, and that you return often.
